Personal information, that we can reasonably use to directly or indirectly identify you, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, user name or other similar identifier, billing and account information and any other identifier we may use to contact you (“personal

Payment information, if you purchase our services directly through our Platform, payment- related information, such as your credit card details is collected by our third party payment processor, Stripe, on our behalf. As a courtesy, Stripe’s privacy policy may be found here: https://stripe.com/en-ca/privacy. Alternatively, if you purchase our services using offline methods other than cash that require further details, we will collect that ourselves.

Banking information, if you apply for a Real Estate Professional-type or Affiliate-type account on our Platform, to facilitate payment of referral fees or payment for affiliate-related work on projects initiated and tracked on our Platform.

Other financial information, if you wish to apply for financing through our Platform, we will collect all your relevant financial information to assist you in obtaining financing with third-party banks, lenders or brokers either directly or via partnerships with third party aggregators for financial information.

Background check information, including the status of any applicable licenses if you apply for a Real Estate Professional-type account on our Platform, or any insurance and certificate-related information that you provide if you apply for a Affiliate-type account on our Platform.

Non-personal information, that does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity or directly relate to an identifiable individual. We may derive non-personal statistical or aggregated data from personal information. For example, we may aggregate personal information to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Platform feature.

Technical information, including your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, or information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Platform, and usage details.

Non-personal details about your Platform interactions, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), clickstream to, through and from our Platform (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, or any phone number used to call our customer service number.

For instance, if you have a Affiliate-type account on our Platform, browser cookies are used to store which user type you have logged into and direct you to the appropriate login screen when you login again.

APIs. We also use Application Program Interfaces (APIs) to pass similar data to our database for similar purposes.

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

  • To present our Platform and its contents to you.

  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zumin Inc., our customers, or others.

5. Transferring your personal information

We may transfer personal information that we collect or that you provide as described in this policy to affiliates, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business (such as analytics and search engine providers that assist us with Platform improvement and optimization) and who are contractually obligated to keep personal information confidential, use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them, and to process the personal information with the same standards set out in this policy.

6. How to control your information

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this Platform may not be accessible or may not function properly. For instance, if you have a Affiliate-type account on our Platform, browser cookies are used to store which user type you have logged into and direct you to the appropriate login screen when you login again.

7. Data security

We use physical, electronic, and administrative measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. This includes, but is not limited to, encryption of passwords for user accounts on our Platform, as well as the standard security protocols associated with storing data with Amazon Web Services (AWS). However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Platform. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.

8. Data retention

Except as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or regulation, we will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

9. Children under the age of 13

Our Platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information.
